Private Cinque Terre Day Trip from Genoa
We take the train from Genoa and spend the day in Cinque Terre — exploring Vernazza, Manarola and Riomaggiore at a relaxed, unhurried pace. No big tour group schedule, no headset, no rushing. Just the villages as they actually are, with time for viewpoints, photos, local food, aperitivo, and the small pauses that make the day feel like a real experience.
This private Cinque Terre tour from Genoa is designed for couples, friends, families and small groups who want the beauty of Cinque Terre without spending the day worrying about train times and crowded routes. In high season the crowds are real, but moving as your own private group makes the timing, pace and route much easier to adapt.
Direct regional train from Genova Brignole — about 1.5 hours, coastal views.
Three villages, each with its own character. Explored properly, not rushed.
Walk the famous hiking path between villages — we choose the best sections based on your group's fitness and preference on the day.
Anchovies, pesto, local wine — I'll point you to the right spots throughout the day.
Two options
The price is per group — so the more of you there are, the better the value. You can also add full logistics where I prepare all train tickets in advance.
What's included
The transport logistics add-on is €100 per adult / child 4+. Infants 0-3 are not charged when transport tickets are free for this age group. Boat segments depend on sea conditions and seasonal schedules.
How the day unfolds
We meet at the station. If you've booked full logistics, everything is ready. Otherwise I'll help you buy tickets on the spot.
A scenic regional train ride. I'll brief you on the villages and what to expect as we travel.
The most dramatic village — a natural harbour, a medieval tower and lanes winding up to panoramic views. Consistently rated the most beautiful of the five villages; arriving with a local host means finding the viewpoints and corners most visitors miss.
One of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We time our arrival to get the best light.
The southernmost and slightly quieter village. Good wine, good views, a natural end to the day.
In summer, we can end the day in Monterosso — the only village with a proper beach. A swim, aperitivo, dinner at a local restaurant.
Summer only · extra cost · agree when bookingWe return together. I'll make sure you're on the right connection.
